G-mouse is an input device for computers, a combination of a mouse and a Fit Ball, known from gymnastics. It replaces all functions of mouse: you can click and navigate with it across the screen.
In the first mock-up, I were utilizing a Nintendo Wiimote. I glued the game controller to the ball, read the motion sensor signals and built a simple game on it. The second version was built on ArduinoBT with a custom made accelerometer shield. What followed was a couple of games in Processing, and an Installation @ MOME. The final prototype of G-mouse prototype acts as a standard mouse device. It consits of a USB receiver and a ball mountable circuit.
G-mouse was exhibited in the Tokyo 100% Design festival by Kitchen Budapest.
